The Puerto Rican Emerald (Riccordia maugaeus) is a hummingbird in the subfamily Trochilinae (mountain gems, bees and emeralds), tribe Trochilini (emeralds). It weighs about 3.1 g and its bill is 17.4 mm long. It is found only in Puerto Rico. Its IUCN Red List status is Least concern, with a stable population.
