The Golden-tailed Sapphire (Chrysuronia oenone) is a hummingbird in the subfamily Trochilinae (mountain gems, bees and emeralds), tribe Trochilini (emeralds). It weighs about 5.0 g and its bill is 24.7 mm long. It lives in Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia and Brazil. Its IUCN Red List status is Least concern, with a stable population.
