The Gilded Hummingbird (Hylocharis chrysura) is a hummingbird in the subfamily Trochilinae (mountain gems, bees and emeralds), tribe Trochilini (emeralds). It weighs about 4.5 g and its bill is 22.8 mm long. It lives in Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia. Its IUCN Red List status is Least concern, with a increasing population.
